There is a gap in the way we minister to women who have experienced abuse.
It isn’t necessarily because churches don’t care. Often, it’s because people simply don’t understand what abuse looks like, how deeply it affects a person, or what someone who has lived through it actually needs.
Too often, women who have experienced abuse find themselves placed in programs that don’t address their wounds—or offered Scripture intended to confront the hard-hearted when what stands before us is someone broken-hearted and desperately needing to encounter the heart of Jesus.
Precious Wounds Ministries exists to help change that.
Whether you are currently experiencing abuse, have walked away from an abusive or difficult relationship, or are years into your healing journey, there is a place for you here. You don’t need to have everything figured out, and you don’t need to be at a particular place in your faith.
We believe your wounds matter to Jesus.
He had wounds, too.
And His wounds did not have the final word.
Through His victory, we find hope. Through His truth, we find freedom. Through His love, we find restoration.
